Lots to look at here and process. Take a few ideas and combine them maybe? Just seems like so much space around the bars.

Joe in ca. Wish I could shut my phone off, someday when I quit or retire. When I shut my phone off bad things usually happen. Theres a reason I have over 4 months of vacation and 9 months of sickleave.

Dont have data for my cell, so im not as technically savvy as you may think. Just need the phone, want the gps when necessary, and music is part of my therapy. Cant talk on my phone while moving on the bike so I need to pull off when talking

Some of my friends turn their cellphone off, put it in the trunk until they stop to refuel, or end of day...

I have not done that yet, but getting to think that way....

When I retired and started travelling on the scooter I found that PayPhones were a distant memory so I got a Cellphone for emergencies.

It sits on the kitchen counter or in the trunk of the scooter and sees maybe ten minutes of use a year.

Advise given here is free and comes with no warranty "Caveat emptor"

John, to me it's just a tool that comes out when needed.

I can appreciate that, it is probably a PrePaid phone then, no monthly payments to the carrier?

I looked at prepaid and at that time I would have had to buy the phone and top it up every month.
I opted for a $15 a month plan with a free phone.
Last year the protocol used by my original phone was suspended so they sold me a new phone for $1 a month on a 20 month plan.
