LED headlights

I had an HID headlight ballast go out after 5 1/2 years so I opted to give LEDs a try. Ordered these and got them today so I installed them. They didn't come with the spacers needed so I made some out of a PVC pipe fitting and used the OEM bulb adapters to adapt the wiring connectors.

First pic is one LED in the left and a halogen in the right. Second pic is both LEDs. They make a nice cutoff on the wall.

I just installed the EC LED's Dave and I am happy with them so far... Haven't ridden at night yet with them but they are super bright during daylight hours and pattern well against the wall... I'm still using halogen for high beams because of my modulator but I may change those as well at a later date...

I chose these because they look just like the ECs and are $40 cheaper, but without the spacers.

Your link to Cycle Max says that those LED's are in fact EC LED's... About 20 bucks cheaper than EC direct... I actually received mine as a Christmas present but I wish I would have seen the CycleMax add first...

How are your stereos working , gentlemen? Use a medium power station and find out the interference. Mine was so awful that I had to change back to stock.
(just read the info and it says zero noise, we shall see)

I make sense all the time. The problem is you only listen intermittently

Me either. I used to listen to country music but it left me a long time ago. What they call country now just kind of sucks with a few exceptions. If I listen to any music at all, it is on an ipod or iphone playing through the aux input, usually either classic country or oldies 50s & 60s.

Radio is more commercial and other BS than music anyway. I used to listen to talk radio a lot but my hearing has got so bad If there are other noises I can't make out what's being said.

Sorry to hear that, Dave. In my rides radio is one of my best friends. There are stations that run uninterrupted music for a long time.
Larry, I cannot listen to recorded music more then once. Once it starts repeating Im done with it for a long time. My cell holds zero music and even that is way too much.
Back to the lights how happy are you guys with them while riding at night.
I know Dave you don't do that anymore either.

On radio the same songs play every hour, over and over.
I haven't had it out since I installed them and probably never again at night. I just like to bee seen. The HIDs pretty well eliminated people pulling out in front of me so hopefully the LEDs will work as well.
