The ATGATT story

I have a Facebook account and keep it tied down very tight to only a few friends.

There is a Thread running on ATGATT, won't bore most of you about my own story other than a link to it if asked.

Here is what prompted this thread.

Maz Zilla

All I can say is I wear all the gear all the time, and on one hot July day a mile from my house I hit a deer at 45 MPH.

My gear saved me from a big hole in my shoulder and saved my back. I had the yellow paint from the center line of the road burned into my armored jacket across the shoulder blade area of my jacket and not on my body.

There was a silver dollar sized hole down to the armor of the top of the shoulder in my jacket too. Not a scratch on my helmet.

As soon as the deer, me and the bike stopped sliding the 75 ft down the road I jumped up from the heat on my knees, thinking "oh no, my knees must be destroyed" but nope!

My boots and heavy jeans saved my legs.
I highly encourage people to wear their gear.

Motorcycles- if you ride 'em you crash 'em, its just a matter of time, why not be prepared for it!

As I was sliding down the hot asphalt road I kept saying "thank god I have all my gear on".

Bike had $8,500 damage, deer was dead and I walked away from the crash.

End of story. THE GEAR IS WORTH EVERY PENNY- TRUST ME!

Can't see the thread on Facebook; it might be set to Friends Only.

Posted messages are packaged by intellectual weight, not volume. Some settling of contents may have occurred during transmission.
