Goldwing Fan club....Midwestern style

Lead driver flagged me down and told me there were 4 more blades behind him trying to make the 90 degree turn.

I agreed to wait

As he finally rolled on by he said: "That's one beautiful bike! Love the color!"

Who am I to argue?

Bike...and Dennis likes this.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

That's one huge fan blade. I had seen many wind farms coming into New Mexico but I had no idea how big those things are. When I was living in Deming I could see the lights from the field of fans in Hatch NM on a clear night.

The local train yard here have many of the windmill parts that came in by train and now are being loaded on trucks and shipped out a few at a time to avoid traffic in very early morning. Maybe I will drive to the bridge overlooking the yard and see what's left and get a couple pictures of them

I forget exactly where we were, think it was in Western Kansas?

Cyndi and I saw a huge field full of those fan blades, and next to that, was another huge field full of the motor housings that go up on top.

and next to that, another huge storage area for the ancillary odd parts to put all that stuff together.

that is one huge enterprise for sure.

so big an enterprise, they have a Signal Light to control the traffic while they pull out of the storage yards!!!
