Angry Looked like a fine day for a ride

Got up my normal pretty early, looked at the weather forecast, 0% chance of rain, high of 74f, and decided I needed to go for a good all dayer. Just about daylight I go out and it's misting rain. Look at the radar and see rain blooming out from the northeast moving in all directions like an atomic blast. So, I guess I'll just sit here and wait, my riding time getting shortened as time marches on.

That's too bad Dave. 79 and cloudy here today. We will be taking Ol Yeller out for the day. She has been neglected lately.

yeah,
we had clouds all day long and it never did really warm up enough to go riding.
late in the evening though, I did fire up the scooter MP3, and took some Redbox movies back to be returned. not much of a ride though.

I did go riding. Misty morning, the windshield stayed wet for about the 1st 100 miles but it never really rained. It cleared off and was a pretty nice day, temperature stayed in the 60s. Got almost 300 miles in.

well,
I rode the lawn tractor yesterday and today.
got everything all done up for this fall.
lady next door is trying to sell her home, so our front yard must be kept neat and trim to match the way she has her's trimmed down to about 1/2 inch high. altogether, between her yard and our front yard, it is about 1.5 acres of smooth as a golf course green....

give it a couple weeks and the green will be gone.

I've planned a ride for yesterday with another friends, but weather didn't let us, it rained like it was the last day in earth, 2.75 in. in about 12 hours.
Today we had a nice sun rise, got up and out to meet friends for coffe by river bank, soon it became cloudy and some mist pouring, back home by noon, lunch and staying inn for the rest of the day.

Mario
And still riding...
I just regrets the things I haven't done.

Planned all week to ride today, supposed to be sunny and high 60's. Waited until 10AM, and it was still 50 and drizzling so I said "Screw it, I'm going anyway" - rode all the way to Mount Greylock in western MA, and finally hit sunshine about 30 miles from home. It didn't get much over 60, but the heated handgrips and rain jacket kept me warm enough, and I got to put 186 miles on the bike.
