I have been running car tires since 2008 & 200,000 miles with no problems. Many different kinds. Of all I like the michelin alpin PA3 the most but they are sometimes hard to find.

I use a Dunlop SP WINTER SPORT 3D DSST RUNONFLAT - SIZE: 195/55R16 . Symmetrical tread with lots of sipes. I like 38psi cold.

I first used a 175/60R16 Dunnie Wintersport ROF on my 1500. I dont think the 175/60 is available any longer .

Sorry , I just came back to this thread. I went thru the maint book for the 1500 and found the Run flat had 17498 miles when it was replaced. The tread was not worn out and likely would have gone another 8-10k miles.
The tire was replaced while at the NASSIR event in Edgefield SC. I must have hit a rough RR crossing or deep pot hole enroute to NASSIR as the tire developed problem. It seemed to have broken a belt . No visible damage but it had the feel of a wobble taking off from a stop. after about 20mph the strange feeling went away. We slowed our pace and made it to Edgefield . The tire was replaced with an E3 and the problem was corrected.
