Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lots of things. You've been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. Its having the right attitudes that's hard.

I borrowed this from another forum. Here's a better example of a 'Custom' Goldwing. Now that's got class.

Back when I was 14 (!!) I built a go-kart outta 2x4's with a riding mower front and rear axle (actually had a differential!) and a cast-iron 5HP Conveyor engine. It'd do about 15MPH. Climbed hills pretty good in low gear. We lived out in the Michigan countryside back then, so I had places to ride it!

1972 CL-350 (1980-1988) sold
1978 Suzuki GS-550 (1985-2005) sold
1977 GL1000 (2002-2006) sold
1980 GL1100 STD Vetter (2005-)
1993 GL1500 Aspencade (2017-)
1983 Trav-Lite Camper (2010-)

Yeah, that was my first thought...be careful around the campfire.

However, I like the bike as a custom. Shows someone is thinking outside the box...or crate.

The bike is not a 'True' factory custom, its done by an outside source. If Honda were to set out and make a 'CVO' type Goldwing it would come out of their factory from their designers out of Japan.

Not to mention unrideable. You couldn't take a long sweeper on an interstate without dragging something. That is if it doesn't settle completely to the ground when a rider mounts it.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.
