On many long journeys have I gone. And waited, too, for others to return from journeys of their own. Some return; some are broken; some come back so different only their names remain.

Plenty of cows, pigs, goats, and horses get loose and wander the back roads here in Tennessee. I narrowly missed being T boned by a galloping horse last month! Last Thanksgiving weekend I was out for a day ride on my 750 Aero in Alabama and got knocked over going about 45 mph by a deer. It's not just animals though, in November 2017 I was riding my VTX 1800 down a country road and stopped for a County pick up which was tailing bush hogs. Without any notice the driver backed up about 50 feet to hit me! @#$%! Both bikes had lots of repairs but are still great rides...

I do hope they paid for that.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

A few years ago I was on my way to work and I came around a corner and several hundred feet in front of me was 2 Bison, yes BISON! I was lucky I had to slow to a stop. I then had to slowly follow then for about 1/4 mile till they decided to go off the road and into a farmers property.

I was lucky I was going at a reasonable speed and had time to stop. I never go blasting through corners that I can't clearly see through and beyond.
