Baker Air wings

I needed new Air wings as mine were both damaged but was having a hard time finding replacements so I made a jig and made my own.

Thanks! I looked at their website and didn't find any wings for an 83. Found a few used but I wanted them to match my new paint. I painted them Brandywine candy with gold flakes mixed in.

Love the color. Awesome job.

Yeah, could be that they don't have the parts or post replacement parts for older bikes. Guess you would have to call for older stuff to be sure.

Bottom line - your creation is better than the originals...

Garage
Fantastic job.

Did you make the bend mechanically, or thermally, or...?

I clamped the blanks in the jig on the top then added spring clamps on the outside edge then heated the bend with a heat gun til they got pulled down. After they sunk to the form I removed the clamps and put the piece of wood with the big clamps on til it cooled and set then repeated the other side.
