GL1200 Vacuum to CDI?

So in messing with my sons GL1200 I found a vacuum hose dangling. Goes to the CDI, so I figured some sort of advance since there is advance on 1st and 2nd gear. I checked the Manuals I have and I'll be danged if i can find it. I even looked at mine (same bike) but its so tight I cant see where it goes. I will lok in the manual again tomorrow if no-one knows the answer.

They don't have CDI, that's for dirt bikes, chain saws etc. , engines that don't need a battery to run.

With no God over the state, the state then becomes not the defender of liberty but the definer of liberty.

Honda calls it a "PC" port but I've always heard it called an ECM, or electronic engine module. Whatever you call it, the hose goes to a brass tube in between carbs 2 and 4. It's supposed to have a "T" right at the ECM.
