High Five for Sindt Motorcycles in Dubuque, IA

Flylow, aka Charles Weaver,
had a fork seal blow on the way to NASR12.

yesterday morning, he called several places, and only one had parts, or had their doors open.

https://sindtmotors.com/

they told him to bring it in, and we will fix it today.

and they did!!!!

turns out, both tubes were galded which aided the seal from sealing, and the big bump he hit, dumped the seal and oil into the nether regions.

he says his bike rides like it is on rails now, not wandering all over like it used to.

I'm going to guess you mean galled, as in chafed, and it kept the seal from sealing?

And thank you, John, for following me over and taking be back that afternoon. They also put on a new brake pad due to all the fluid and finished it off with a bath.

Good people!

Good to hear that flylow was able to get them forks fixed, , ,but I must add something to/about the "story".

AZgl1800 (John) is the absolute "heart and soul" of this site for all he does here and elsewhere, his input, and organization of bookmarks on almost EVERY issue we have with our bikes.

You're ONE-IN-A-MILLION sir, and I consider myself fortunate to interact with you. Thanks again for all you do.

And now, , , ,you know the REST of the story, , , ,

<<<sheepishly stepping down off the soap box now>>>
