Source for Seats - 75 GL1000

Hey Folks,
I have a 75 GL1000 and I'm trying to do a bit of a cafe racer thing with the seat and handlebars. It's turned into a way bigger thing than I figured to swap out the seat and handlebars on this thing, but anyway...I ordered one seat online and it didn't fit. So I went to a local upholstery guy who is supposed to be legendary for doing bike seats up here in MA. And he had the seat pictured here. He said I could take it home and try it out. Well it fits, and it's a great seat...but it's not what I want. It's too bulky for the look I want. Can anybody point me toward a website specializing in old Honda's where I could find a nice cafe racer seat for this puppy? TIA!
(Also, sorry if this isn't the right part of the forum for this question.)
-Doug

you are okay, right where you are.
I agree, that seat is a monster that belong on a beluga whale.

Check ebay. There is a Vietnam importer that has GL1000 cafe seats. Or, do like I did and build your own with an original seat pan, carpet padding, spray contact cement, and electric carving knife.
