Tool Kit for GL1800 engine removal

I never thought about how the engine is mounted,

it appears that special tools are required?

I have a really BIG hammer. I've yet to encounter anything it can't disassemble.

Now I just need to find a tool that can do the reassembly part.

Interesting it lists compatibility with 29 various 2001-2012 GL1800 models plus the 2000 GL1500-A and SE. What about the rest of them? I guess they won't work on a 2015 or 1998 model.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I seem to remember reading somewhere there were no 2011 or 2012 GL1800's because Honda was relocating the factory from Ohio to Japan?

1972 CL-350 (1980-1988) sold
1978 Suzuki GS-550 (1985-2005) sold
1977 GL1000 (2002-2006) sold
1980 GL1100 STD Vetter (2005-)
1993 GL1500 Aspencade (2017-)
1983 Trav-Lite Camper (2010-)

There were no 2011's. Part of the problem was when the decision was made to relocate, around the same time Japan got socked by an earthquake and I believe that caused a tidal wave. Not only did that delay production of motorcycles but also created a shortage on some parts as well. They finally got it up and running in time to churn out the 2012's...
