GL1500 SE Handlebar Switches (on an Aspencade)

Some time ago a member (don't remember who) wanted to know if SE (illuminated) switch controls could be installed on an Aspencade.

I provided the following to him back then:

A couple of years ago, I replaced both handle bar switch units. I have an Aspy & I bought the units for the SE. Just by doing the plug & play, The left side has lights, but the right side doesn't
