the discussions that I have had with LEOs, is that unless they personally see it, it did not happen...

although when I was run off the road and into the outside berm, and stopped a local city officer, he said that if I had a video that showed the oncoming vehicle cross the center line, and a rear camera was able to catch the license plate, and IF video logged the GPS coordinates so they could verify the location.........
then, they would be able to cite him for Reckless Driving.

But, he could not take the film because it occurred just outside of city limits, so I would have to take it to the Highway Patrol headquarters.

and if on a County road, to the Sheriff's Office.

end of story.

Wheel witness was one of the cams I tried. It disintegrated from vibration - on my GL1500 mind you. The seller refused to fix it because using it on a motorcycle voided the warranty. The camera itself seemed to work OK but the mount is incredibly flimsy.
