Anyone seen one of these before.

Just bought this import from florida but can't find any information about this back end trunk delete.

Is it truly deleted ? Is that just a trunk rack or is it a basket ? Interesting either way.
I recall someone selling supposed OEM -smaller trunks for the 1500 some years back .

Has someone just removed the top box & fitted a flat panal with a rack?
If so should be an easy conversion back to standard, if you look on ebay there is a top box & all fittings for sale near you for £300 if thats your intention.

There was a company in the US that made those kits and the original wiring is probably under the top panel. I believe the company was MBL Innovations that offered the kit. You may want to contact them. https://mblinnovations.com

Looking underneath the rack has been shortened and this just bolts on top but it is plastic and not fibreglass so figured somebody had been building the kits.

After a friend's wife stopped riding he took the trunk off his 07 wing , he made the chrome rack on the back, he said it handled a lot better with out the trunk.
