Very true, even to change the pipes you have to go in and reset the tuner, then an air cleaner, for it again. Then when its warranty is up then raise the rev, and do another tune. I have done a few since I bought the program, if they have a interface.
pipes , yes. air cleaner , no.
a real exhaust system, with a flowing air cleaner will yield very little power. the choke is still the cams and heads.
example, the 2004 cvo screaming eagle 103 only produced 80 lb tq and 70 hp. time after time . thats only 10 lb tq and about 6 hp over a 88 inch stone stock.
