Caught my first rain storm last night with my new wing. Kind of odd to see air bubbles blowing out between the inside of the windshield and the top of the dash. Looks like I'm tearing it apart Saturday. Any advice?
Pretty simpple to remove and inspect the 4 bolts/screws that hold the windshield on.
If loose it wouldn't be good for windshield to the moving around and possibly cousing 20+ year old plastics to crack from not being tight, just thoughts on this.
Turns out to be nothing major. Screws for the windscreen were a little loose. Thinking about running a bead of sealant between the screen and rubber gasket then gasket to dash.
You shouldn't need a sealant. Once you get things where you want them, push the gasket/mattin a bitbefore you tighten the windshield down. That makes a tighter seal.
Using a sealant you run a risk of damagingthe gasket, as well asthe dash board and the windshield.
