Hi folks,

My Father recently passed away and I have a full basement of older wing engines, rolling frames, and parts to get rid of. Have a couple of stock 75/6 bikes and a couple of 78's.

Don't know what I should do with it all, any Ideas?

Have trunks from an 83 still in boxes brand new, CX500 rolling chassis and extra motor, tons of chrome racks, old fairings...etc...any ideas of what to do greatly appreciated..

Hi there Jeff,

I'm very sorry to hear of you loss and, most probably your reason for joining us &posting on this site.

Yes, you will find plenty of our family members interested in those spare parts, but I guarantee, that you'll get more greetings for joining us &condolencesfor your loss, than you do for those spare parts.

I'm sure one of our Moderators will transfer this post to the "For Sale" forum (which will be well received) 'cause some of those parts are well sought after.

Again, I am sorry for your loss and sad about your circumstances.....Brian

Jeff,

You have just found yourself a new family. An international family at that.

It will take a while, but be assured that what you have is not junk.

A lot of it is still worthy of keeping until you can sell it off. I hope that your situation does not force you to have to clear it all out at once. To do so, would cause your family a severe loss.

The international family here will help you put a fair value on what you have. You are going to need a digital camera to help inventory what is there. If it is not marked as to what it is, we can assist you via pictures in describing it.

Also, there just might be someone local to you that can come in and provide on site assistance. I will post a help notice in the Miscellaneous Forum referencing this thread.

I am sorry for your family's loss of your father. But rest assured, you have found an extension of "his family" from the world that he loves right here. I also note that you are a Goldwing rider yourself and located in Canada. Being located in the North Americas is more fortunate for your current needs as there will be more demand for what you have to sell.

John

You came to the right place, Jeff. Welcome to the forum. And my condolences for your great loss.

Those parts will be many riders salvation, and a way that your late father will keep on giving.

Sorry for your loss.

What about taking a panoramic picture showing all you have, if in colour may help then post it.
