I'm looking for a final drive and rear flange in good shape. If you have a spare laying around that you want to get rid of, please let me know.

Ed,

In early July I found an ad on Craigslist in Atlanta area where a running 1995 Special Edition was being parted out. He was at that time trying to sell the engine/frame, he did have the rear drive shaft/drum and wheel.

Here is his info.

Hope this works out for you,
Dave.

I picked up an acceptable final drive and drive shaft for $49.95 (plus $24.95 shipping)off of EBay not all that long ago. Also picked up a pristine driven flange for $15 from EBay as well.

Just look at the shape of the splines when looking for a suitable replacement. The outer gear casing may needed some work (paint) but ifthe basics are in good shape, you're good to go. If you can't see the splines clearly, ask the seller for better/clearer detailed shots..

Thanks for the lead Dave. I called that fellow and the final drive and flange have been sold.

Dusty,
I am a little apprehensive about buying the final drive from Ebay. The flange, not so much. I would rather buy from a forum member who has inspected the part.

Thanks guys,
Ed

OK guys,

I was able to secure a final drive off a 1999 that was triked. The drive has no miles on it, the bike was purchased new and triked the next day. The drive has sat on a shelf since then. He no longer has the flange, he sold it with the wheel a few years ago, so I am still on the look out for a flange.

Thanks,
Ed

Call Midwest Cycle Salvage in Green Bay Wi. I got one from there about a month ago from a trike conversion. They may have more.

Send a PM to Gloryrider1. He might still have one also.

Thanks Chipmonk,

I called Midwest Cycle, they have a few in stock but he wanted $100.00 for one. To me that is way too much when I can order a new one from Power Sports Plus for $148.00.

Gloryrider1 sent me a PM earlier about the final drive, he no longer has the flange.

I emailed some trike shops this morning, hopefully something will come out of it. There is one on Ebay, but it is hard to tell the condition of the splines as they are covered in grease (I guess that is a good thing). I emailed the seller for better photos, but have not seen anything yet.
