I put a HO alternator on it. Don't need this one.

Will it fit a 91 1500?

Yes it will fit a 1991. They are all interchangeable from 1988-2000

If you are able to ship into Canada, I would send you the cash first & when you receive it you could send the unit if that would work for you?

If Hatchetman doesn't take it, I would like to buy it. I can send money thru Pay Pal. Thanks Jerry 559-213-3175

Hey Jerry, I think this sale would be better suited going to you because once I do exchange on Canadian cash & the shipping into Canada Im prolly around $100 anyways. My bike is good so far, I will keep feelers out on this side of the border!

Assuming the alternator pictured in post # 2 is the one off the 1998 Gold Wing....!!

True it will fit but you would need to make a little change.

The alternator pictured in post # 2 is not an OEM alternator. It is an aftermarket alternator.

The "exciter wire" on the alternator in post # 2 is permanently attached to the back of the alternator with a connector that plugs in behind the left fairing inner panel.

You would need to remove the left fairing inner panel to plug in the "exciter wire".

OEM......The "exciter wire" plugs in to the back of the alternator

Also note the color of the "stator coil", black on aftermarket and green on OEM alternators.

You would have two options:

1. Remove the panel and plug in the "exciter wire".

2. Cut and splice the "exciter wire".

BTDT....!

See attached OEM alternator..........!!
