Hi all,

Since I can't post in the FAQ section yet and cant find an answer to this question, I will post it here.

I am bringing home an old barn find this week. It has been sitting for at least a couple years, although have been told that it was cranked over and started last year but not for any length of time.

It is a 1985, model unknown at this time.

My question is this: What is the logical and prudent sequence I should follow to slowly and safely bring this bike up that would not cause any damage. What I mean is something along the lines of..
step one, drain and replace the fuel,
step 2 replace the fuel/air/oil filter
check this for condensation
squirt some oil into the here
let it set for x amount of time
then crank it up
adjust the carbs...etc etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a ton

Rik
