Just a quick note to all of you in Britain, She who is boss is back here in Canada so you can all drive knowing you are a little bit saferthis weekthen you were last week. Mind you what she tells me about driving over there, the fact she is home may not make all that much difference in the safety department. Good Luck

I am seriously surprised that She made it home, if my experience the other day is anything to go by......

Was in my local plumbers merchants, when I was asked directions by a couple who were lost. They were Canadian, had driven about 1 mile from Gatwick airport, and were comletely confused and heading in totally the wrong direction. I tried to explain where they were and where they needed to go, but I could see by the glazed look in their eyes and fixed stare, that they had no idea what I was talking about!! I decided that since I was on the Wing and it is a Canadian edition, it was my duty to see them right. I led them back to where they needed to be and waved them a goodbye, returning to my job. I hope they found their destination ok, at least i could safely say that they were unlikely to be meeting any, deer skunk or possums on the way!!!

I have travelled the world over the years and have had that lost feeling many a time, so I felt so sorry for them. It wasn't all good Samaritain stuff though, it was an excuse to ride the bike an extra couple of miles too!!

Hope you got the empties in the trash can, tidied the house and wiped the oily finger marks off the surfaces, before she got back

Oh ya Pete, been here many times before, Had the dumpster filled with pizza and KFC boxes picked up on Friday. Washed the bedding flush the Lav. Just to make it all pretty for her return. And thanks for helping one of our fellow Canadians. Your a good man, despite what Redwing says about you in his PM's.

Excellent domestication Goldwinger, bet that made the young lady happy!!

I hope she fitted all she wanted into her whistle stop tour of familly and friends.

I have to admit, if your lady made it through the London traffic unscathed, then she could probably drive just about any vehicle, anywhere. I wonder if she endured a session on the M25, our most famous Motorway, fondly refered to as our National Carpark. It is either a case of most people driving well over the speed limit, or at a complete standstill , because of accidents or roadworks!! I avoid it like the plague, despite living vey close to it.

I expect she enjoyed our "varied" weather, went back right on time, it is raining cat and dogs now again!

I am glad to hear Redwing doesn't have anything good to say about me, I would be worried if he singled me out for praise.
