I read through the end user license agreement for Safari tonite. I noticed this part...

Dang I was planning on using Safari to drive my nuclear power plant. Now I am going to have to use Exploder, and that just doesnt seem right!

Well, this is rather sad...IE7 works perfectly for me, using this Forum's text editor, BUT, it shuts down completely on nearly every link provided by the members here. Same with normal, off-Forum browsing

Firefox works great on this Forum, EXCEPT with this Forum's text editor. The quote function is totally useless, and most of the editing tools (in blue background, above) are not available...

Opera warns me that nearly all of Taffy's links lately are "blacklisted", so...does Opera hate everything from Australia??? Opera also treats every Forum link as a POPUP, requiring my permission and extra "clicks" to view all links...AND, even fewer editor tools are available, and almost none of them work anyway...

Plus, this laptop I bought has Vista installed, with IE7 woven into the very fabric of it. IE7 cannot be deleted from Vista!

I was really hoping for Safari to rescue me from all this crap...

I also see by the quotes many of you use, there is no quote box,...so many of you are also fighting these or similar problems...hmmmmMMMMM???

I do all my own stunts...

I hadn't even heard of it...but I just downloaded it, and I'm typing this from the Avant browser...

It appears that all of the edit tools are showing above, but will be awhile before I learn if they are all working...the emoticons seem to work exactly like IE7...

COOL...thankyou...

I also downloaded Rudy's Mepis_7 thingie, but I have to figure out how to get it onto a CD and run it...

Glad it worked for you, Avant does work very similar to Explorer.

Not sure how Rudy has that set but I would imagine you have to make and ISO file from it to make a bootable cd. I'm sure Rudy can help better on that though, he's the one that helped me with Mepis some time ago.
