I don't know. Maybe he is on vacation with his neighbour.

Does anyone have a clue what this could possibly be? I was at a cottage for the last 3 days and this was there. The owners who have owned the property for over 40 years didn't know what it was, so I thought I would ask the experts. It's about 20-25 lbs, and appears top be made out of iron.

Well, if you're near a lake maybe something for a boat anchor? Piece off of farm equipment if in farm country?

At 5 cents a pound, $1.25 at the scrap yard.
