I don't know if the 1800 has one already but it would be nice to have control of the instrumentation illumination like most cars have.

Hey exavid The instrument illumination can be turned up or down on my neighbours Is that what you mean? ? ? Now there is good information for three 'Gurus' See 'Gurus' dont know everything.

Yes I believe Gl1800 has this already, but you need to adjust it through the LCD menu. A button or dial would be easier.

It is not a problem to adjust the 1800 dash lights ,,2 secs just as quick as any switch or button
