when i was 13years old i had a honda 100cb. under the petcock there was a bowl with a screen in it. sometimes the bowl and screen got stopped up and bike would stop running. to fix, simply unsrew bowl and take trash out and put back and your off again.

teacher and i found the same crud in the accelerator pump on my wing. if honda went back to that style it would catch that crud, therefore saving my carbs, pump, and cutoff valves.

maybe this has been suggested before, but don't know, so i posted.

thank you teacher,

mark

looking for a nice 1500, that i can afford

thats true but i also know if i had as descibed i'd still have 150.00 more dollars in my pocket.

guess previous owner didnt change it enough and about once a week if i remember correctly i'd have to unsrew and take trash out. a heck of alot simpler. took maybe 5min., max

I'm confused. $150 for a fuel fileter? A filter for my 1100 is $3 (that's $3 US for you metric types) and it is pretty accessible so it should be easy to change.

Maybe you need to pull your fuel tank and clean it.
