Well - I agree with the group. Probably a short in the front left turn signal causing both running and turn elements to go dead. Have no idea how to take apart the fairing to get to the wiring harness.

The gold I bought sat for awhile. Now it seems to miss and pop every once and awhile - very noticeable when it is cold. Took it to the dealer and he said Carburetor issues. Needs to be rebuilt and synchronised. They are a week behind on service and he wants 500 dollars to do this. Looks like I will buy the book and learn how to rebuild and synchronise them myself. The GL1100 Carburetor repair manual by Howard Halasz.

Dangggggggg was really looking forward to driving it and not having to take it apart and work on it. But should of known when you get used you get problems - as I usually do.

Before you tear into the carbs, try running some Seafoam through the fuel system, Thought I was going to have to take mine apart, but tried the seafoam and its been running great ever since, that was over a year ago. Word of warning, have a fresh set of plugs handy, after sitting overnight, the plugs fouled. new plugs and away we go.

Thanks for the warning and I am trying the seafoam. I just put new plugs in her - looks like I will have to put another new set in her.
