I notice while riding the high volume of hot air coming out of the radiator vents through the faring (can see them on the Header Pic of this Forum). A thin vented louver and channel throughthe faring to direct the heat either through the faring to the rider for additional heating or out further still from the faring - like for us big guys that fill the faring and like to ride with legs out on boards - to keep the hot air flowing further outside the rider/passenger "bubble".
For newer GL1800 owners - put your hand just outside the faring and "feel the heat" - LOL
