It seems to me that a built in garage door transmitter would be pretty handy. I have always just clipped mine on the shield over the gages on my 1100. Would be a nice function on my 1800.

It's not strictly a HD thing you can buy the same system from ebay . I have it on my bike and car. Just flash the high beams twice and the door opens or closes. works great!!

they had to build it into the HD, they tried clipping the normal one on but it kept falling off

can the cb switch be modified to trigger a opener?

Heres one idea for a remote switch. I thought it was pretty cool. And it looks easy to do too.

Just click on Bike projects then garage door opener.....

What happens in Vegas, happens on my wing!

My 1982 1100I restoration project....

I added two switches to my wing today.The red one is for the garage door opener and the black is for a CB that I plan on adding to the bike.Here is the link to the pictures of the finished product. It was more time consuming than anything.

What happens in Vegas, happens on my wing!
