How about a new 4 cylinder GL standard? No bells and whistles, just a motorcycle. Like the way Triumph does it. The old bike, with new technology. Just plain. Not everybody needs or wants bigger, bigger, more more more. A 1200 could be nice too.

Letshave a little variety. I don't want a V twin or a 2000 cc tourer. Even a CB900 would be cool again.

That's what I would buy. Thanks for lettin me speak.

with modern fuel injection and electronic ignition anything the 1000-1200 range would be a good morotrcycle for sure

I agree with both of you guys. I think they should bring back the standard...!nekked!.....no bags, no fairing, NO GPS and not so much plastic....... I have an '84 gl1200 standard........take off two side panels and the mock gas tank and she's NUDE...that's how i like it. Also a fuel injected 1200cc would be really really powerful.. Even if they could cut us down to one or two carbs. i'd be happy. (I know i'm dreaming but she's awful thursty) Yep I'd definitly buy a standard.....

just thought i'd add my two cents
