The Victory is a very good, well made bike. I do not believe there is a snow ball's chance in Hades that there is room for another American bike company, especially in these weak economic times. Difficulties in this endeavor abound. As some will notice, the Wing was an excellent bike as long as it was made in Japan and not so much after it was brought to Ohio. Just be thankful we have the Goldwing.

Japan.... Honda
China.... Lifan

That speaks for itself.

China already owns us. I was reading the other day about how we were close to defaulting on our loan from China, and how it would be a horrible decision to make. How many politicians vote themselves a raise? Plus what they get after they're out of office- even if they do a crappy job?!... PLUS, Obama's famous phrase is "We'll give you federal funding. Let us know if you need it, we'll send monetary aid" How dumb is it to promise money we DO NOT have?

... and yes, a lot of our IT is outsourced to India too- and it seems they hand pick them to find the ones with the strongest accents to talk you through technical difficulties (WTF??)

A smaller, cheaper, lighter version of the GoldWing?? I have one! They made it for about four years, then discontinued it only to make it again years later as a scooter....

AMW (American Motor works) but i don't think BMW would like it too much.
