While it's true that it is difficult to find body repair for your products many of us enjoy doing these projects ourselves. It would be most helpful if you could identify the type of plastic on the inside where you identify the date the part was made. Here is a photo....

I thought that it was all ABS.

The tank shelter on mine has glass cloth coming out of a large crack in it. So I was wanting to know if Honda used anything beside ABS Plastic.

I Ride a GL 1200 because it is my favroite Bike not the other way around.
