Don't know why, but it's been cold here already down to the lower 30's.
Today I just moved the trike setup back some so I could walk around it better.
Got the IRS rear end centered to bike & worked (brain power) on how to mount it.
Will be a bracket to the rear crash bar area , cardboard template as in picture.
The 2 lower bars will mount to the center stand area.
Then from the rear shock mounts will have tubing back to the rear frame mounting bolt.
That should do it good.
Will build a aux. gas tank to sit on top of rear end about 22"x 10" x 8" & mount a GoldWing gas pump & sending unit. It will be controlled with a switch up front using a Chevy dual tank switch.
Wheel base came in at 75" & outer tires is 65"

Which Subaru?
The Bradley GTII has a mid-engine 2.7 Subaru 6 cyl in it.
The 3 Wheel car "RAKOONS" has a front wheel drive 2.7 Subaru 6 cyl in it.
The super mini Subaru Outback "RAKOONS' DEN" camper. No 2.7!
Was thinking of putting in a 2.7 Subaru 6 cyl in the " RAKOONS' TOY" GoldWing Trike build, but the insurance would kill me.
How bout a mid-engine GoldWing?

SUBARU " Best Kept Secret"

Well, here's the latest.
Found a diff. at "Pull-A-Part" for $66.00.
It's from a BMW 325i with 2.93:1 gearing, same as the Goldwing.
So I also had to change the axle to the older type with bolt on flange.
Should have just bought the 95 Miata rear end to begun with instead of the 2000 with the new slide in axles.
Installed the axles & now figuring how to mount the diff.
2 Picures show the rear end & last picture shows what parts I changed.

OK, got the side brackets made today & welded them in.
Tacked welded the side tubing to rear end frame & made wood shock supports.
Forgot to mention that the diff. is mount to frame , but still need to make axle adp. & drive shaft.

It's up on 3 wheel & rolling around

Today used the lathe to cut the bushing holder for the rear support which are mount to the shock upper mount back to the rear end.
The back section will be bolted down using weld nut.
This way I will be able to remove this brace so & can remove the rear end section.

Got the rear air shocks mounted, still need to hook up to compressor.
Started to make rear axle adp.
Lathe in a recess for the inner axle, now to get them hele arc welded.
Then back on the lathe to smooth out the back side, cut recess for Miata axle, drill & tap holes on both.
Last picture shows the disc brake setup after I removed the axle .

Updated as I get things done. Hope to drive around soon, then into storage for the winter & back to work on the Bradley GTII Kit Car

Got the diff. axle adp. plate welded & machined the other side for the axles.
Have one drilled & tapped & should have them on by this evening.
Machined the drive shaft adp. on the lathe & will get it welded up today & get it
installed also. Couldn't use the one's I got waterjet cut due to the shorter wheel base.
Be ready for 1st drive soon.
