I have a 2013 Gold Wing and about 4 months ago I ran out of fuel with the gage showing 1/4 tank. I tested the system and repaired the sender on the fuel pump. I switched the sender circuit board with a known good front sender. the gage work fine for about 4 months and then I removed the seat to check out another problem I thought was a caused by a bad relay. When I put the seat back on the fuel gage began again stopping at 1/4 tank. The two sending units (one for top 3/4 and the other for the last quarter share a ground wire that puts them in a series for the ground. The only way I can see one working and the other not(with both senders checking good) is for there to be a ground point between the 2 that isn't supposed to be there. Has anyone had this problem, what was your fix, and are there any suggestions of what might cause this problem. Flustered in Missouri.
