I am looking for what I believe is called a Fire Creek Ignition Cover panel for my 1500 'Wing.

These were readily available a couple of years ago when I had my previous bike but cannot seem to find one anywhere. I suppose it's possible they are no longer manufactured so maybe someone has one they want to sell?

I remember that guy that had several hundred of them on ebay. I did buy 2 of them, but I am not sure I want to sell one yet. I am trying to find an email from the seller to see who it was.

I have plans for them. If I recall, he was selling them for just over $20. Reason I bought 2.

Thanks for that information, and If you could find an email address that would be great. I live in UK and have tried to locate one over here but, to date, no joy. Thanks

OK folks, , , it will be a great accessory for my BEAST. Now I gotta decide on Voltmeter, and oil pressure gauge, or water temp gauge, , or combo gauge, , , decisions, decisions, decisions, , ,what brand is best, , , how to wire em up, , :)

Dang this is gonna be harder than my lil pea brain can handle (hahaha), I'll post pic when I'm done. I'm hoping it'll be bison brown, , , ,but maybe spray paint will serve that purpose, , dunno yet

I say we start a THREAD asking for help from ANYONE with experience, or contacts, or knowledge on how to do this. I'm on-board with getting something figured out, , ,dunno if its feasible but worth a "meeting-of-the-minds" for sure. It definitely sounds like there is a niche that could be filled, on a small scale. Are the ignition panels on the 1800's similar enough to cover a "need" there too??

The listing you're looking for has ended.

Honda GL1500 Gauge Panels
Condition:
New

Ended:
Sep 23, 2016, 01:50:18 PM PDT

Price:
US $28.00

This was 2 years ago from eBay.

The "supply-and-demand" rule applies since firecreek is defunct and no other "supplier" has stepped up. (YET!!)

Combine that with the fact that if you're lucky enough to find/buy a "USED" OEM panel, you're probably in the $30-50 range.

I agree, , , its DEFINITELY, worth taking a moment to evaluate the "risk v. reward" factor. And if a similar idea were available for the 1800's, , ,and there was some interest among the riders, , , ,THAT would be kicker for me, , , I'd be IN with both feet.

Yeah you did!! The PO did you a big favor. Matching colors are rumored to have been $75-85 at first, , ,but went up about double near the end of the inventory. ALSO, , looks like you have "firecreek" gauges on it too, , so add another $100-150 probably.

Is it on an Interstate, or Aspy?? Had to ask because your "profile" bike is an 1100 and I thought these panels only fit the 1500.

The Firecreek panel arrived on Monday!!! Absolutely PRISTINE condition (Thanks again John!)

I've gotten "feedback" from most all the riders (that I could find) who have experience with these.

I'm in the process of locating the original "molds" so that I don't have to re-invent the wheel.

If anyone has any ideas/suggestions, feel free to PM me, , ,all info is appreciated.

BTW, , ,anyone who is interested in one, , , just gimme a PM and I can judge how many folks are interested.
