I just looked under my bike and if I am looking in the correct place, I have a large "canister" there. Is this a vapor emissions thing? Can it be removed and not affect the running of the bike? Is...

What steps are necessary to cut an axle to the size you want?

I am thinking about building a HF trailer setup but would like the overall width to be less.
