I would say it was just an old battery. If the altenator was bad with a bad battery the bike wouldn't run. If the altenator does goes bad it takes about 15 minutes to change out. Price sounds good to...

I bought a rebuilt high output from him and it only lasted a year. Went to a Compufire and it has worked perfectly now for years. I'm sure others have had better luck with the rebuilt's than I did,...

Yes, he's a 100lb yellow lab. He will usually sleep in the trailer the night before I leave. We have logged many miles together on the Wings.

I had the very same condition after my first ride on a 1500.

Looks like the wind deflectors are on the wrong side. Swap sides and when they are closed they follow the lines of the fairing.

I've used Mobil 1 15050 and Rotella 5-40 synthetic in the blue jug on my 1200 and each worked well. I use Rotella 5-40 synthetic in my 1500, seems to be a good oil for the price.

When I had a 1200 it would run fine on regular, if it was regular with ethanol added it would start hard after the motor was hot. It wouldn't do that when I ran premium. It was hard to find regular...
