My stock 1999 Valkyrie Interstate showed 96.3HP. The highly modified Harley - cam, heads, carb, and exhaust showed 86HP. I could listen to the radio while mine ran - not so for the Harley.

I have owned 4 Pacific Coasts over the years. I can't say anything bad about them. They have the same v-twin motor Honda has built for years. Virtually no maintenance. About 50MPG. Easy on tires....

I would try #0000 steel wool rather than #1200 sandpaper. A foam "power ball" will work - just clean it occasionally. It will pick up aluminum residue as you polish which will create fine scratches. ...

Top section - small increments - no more than 1/8" - Make sure you are out in the open -

But you should have the meter plugged in at the radio - this will account for any variance in the cable....

I wouldn't worry about - Basically the same stuff with different boiling points - dot 3 boils at 284F and dot 4 at 311F - I doubt you will ever see those temps in your bike unless you plan to be on...
