RPM cable connection 83 GL1100A

My 1983 GL1100A Aspencade fuel pump has a connection for one end of the RPM cable. With a digital dash where does the other end go?

20w oil in Rear Shocks GL1100A

Does anyone know of an easy way to reinstall 20w ATF fluid in each rear shock through the 1/4" opening? Currently I'm using an large 2oz syringe with an 1/8" needle.
