for the plastic car carrier i used plastic primer from auto zone and the paint on the wheels and car carrier is a 2 part catylized auto paint single stage. it was left over from when i painted my 1100. i used a green scratch pad to rough-up the surface of the plastic befor primer. you have to use a flex agent in paint that is going to be on something flexable. let me know if you have any questions, michael
I was looking at your pictures of the trailer. Did you paint the car carrrier? Any special information to paint plastic? I thought it would crack with movement. I am about to powder coat the frame of my trailer. Is your rims painted? Let me know how you did your work or do you have to have this work done by someone? For some reason I didn't think spray paint would work, but if this is what you used, it must do the trick.
I have begun the search for a hitch. You said there is one in your local area? I am looking at $250 new for harness and hitch, or $130 off of ebay (currently no bids). Would you be able to look into your option and let me know if it could beat my other options in cost. I wasn't sure the cost you said, but add shipping and some for your time if this hitch is available yet.
