  6. No forward gears

    General Motorcycle Discussion Forum
This is defiantly a possibility. I remember back in high school, I had a '69 Catalina. After school on day, I stopped at a buddy's house. When I went to leave, I couldn't move as the left front brake caliper stuck.
  7. Modulated Headlights

    General Motorcycle Discussion Forum
I'm not unfamiliar to EMV as I was a Volunteer Fireman a few decades ago. IIRC, in the early to mid 60's, DOT mandated that motorcycles must have their headlights on while in operation to make themselves seen in traffic. With most all car now having daytime running lights, that advantage is...

    NASR Forums
To anybody that might be contemplating hosting a NASR event but think that his is a major under taking, If you look at these guidelines as a whole, It might seem that way. If you break it down into sections, it is very doable. I was lucky enough to have the honor to host NASR12. I knew that...

  11. Modulated Headlights

    General Motorcycle Discussion Forum
If they where flashing side to side, then it was not a legal modulator unit. Seeing that you don't the rules, you just group everybody into one category. If you make a statement & can't back it up, then you are nothing more then a troll. Go back and re-read my posts, I NEVER said...

  13. Modulated Headlights

    General Motorcycle Discussion Forum
That question is as stupid as if a 4 wheeler is not looking & pull out in front of you (as they do), You hit your horn, he gets irritated & pull out a .44, who wins that battle.

  15. Future NASR's Host

    NASR Coordinators
I like the premise of this held in the open forum. A couple of questions. When you select a Host, At what point will you give him (her) access to the Coordinators forum. My thinking is, if your select member "XYZ" from Denver & they continue to ask questions in the open forum, then people...

After a week to reflect on NASR12. I have a few thoughts that might help out future Hosts. I don't know if somebody could build a data base with this & future NASR comments. Things that went well: Having a fire ring: A great place for members to congregate at the end of the day. Have a...
