I inherited this bike from a friend of 40 years that died recently of cancer. We bought the bikes brand new, the same day, from the same dealer as a package deal and rode together all over the country for many years. I crashed mine in '89 (broke a lot of bones and totalled mine). He completely restored his to stock condtion. Now he's gone and I've got a 1975 Blue Goldwing in excellent condition and it runs like a top. It's got about 30,000 on it since the rebuild. He was a quality control engineer and took great pains to restore this bike accurately. I'm finding that as I get older, my body can't take the rigors of riding like I could in my 20's and 30's. I put a small windshield on it along with a bucket seat....both easily removable. I have the original seat in good condition. He put running lights and a fork brace on it. There are bags on it...but easily removable. And he added an oil pressure guage. I have many extra parts that he didn't use, also...including a Windjammer III.
