History
Purchased in 2013 from my landlord. It was his fathers bike, but his health no longer permitted him to ride. Immediately replaced the tires, brakes, wheel bearings, fork seals, and stem bearings. Then upgraded the exhaust to a Vance & Hines 4-1 setup and rejetted the carbs. Saddlebags and a windshield came a short time later. My hopes along the way would be for it to turn into a budget touring bike, but its size compared to my own made that impractical. It has served me well as my primary cycle from the summer of 13 through the summer of 16 and still gets ridden today. It serves as a reliable backup to the GL1200 (work in progress). It isn't a fast bike, but its nimbleness make it a joy to ride.
