I have owned the 1978 since 2004. A vendor of the body shop i was managing knew I had a 1977 and asked me if I wanted another one. I said it depends on the price. He said $100.00 if you come and get it. I said i'd be there Friday with a truck. He had burned up the entire wire harness and the the largest piece of the cycle was on the kick stand for the last three years. I found a wire harness on the internet back east for $66.00 still in the original package never been opened. When I buy parts and give the dealers the VIN# they keep telling me that it is listed as a limited addition. I don't think Honda made a limited addition in 1978. It does however blow the doors off my 1977. And fires right up cold and ready for the road barely any warm up. I put headers on it and moved it's exhaust to the 77. When I had the carbs rebuilt i gave the tech the rebuild jets for the 1978 and he said he had to work and work on the jets fine filing them to get it to run smooth. He did a great job.
