History
bought my 1983 Honda GoldWing Interstate from my co-worker/good friend's uncle. It is true blessing. It was well taken care of (borderlined baby'ed a little too much). His uncle got into a bad wreck on his other motorcycle. Due to his injuries, doctor told him that if he took one more fall, then it could kill him. Being a Vietnam Veteran he kept the GoldWing stored in a barn. He believed one day he would throw caution to the wind and ride it. Well it sat for 15 years. He eventually decided to sell it because the barn was beginning to crumple around it. The minute he opened the barn doors to show me the bike, I instantly handed him the money. He was trying to tell me the bike's history and I was backing up my trailer. No amount of dirty, soil, or rust was going turn me away. I've spent so many long nights battling clogged idle jets, leaking brake caliber pistons, random blinker functionality, a radio with a mind of it's own, etc. (the list goes on...) but I would not take it back for the world. I would do it again in a heart beat. Even though I've got most of the major system back functional and the bike to a point where it can be rode safely and confidently, it's still a work in progress. Here are a few pictures.
