There was a brake recall. They run a wire to make sure the return hole is clear in the back caliper. 5 minute check. I had an 86 before buying a new 2008. You will like the extra power, great brakes, great handling and super headlights. I miss the adjustable seat and air suspension and hydraulic lifters but not enough to want a 1200. No frame issues that I know of. 40,000 miles on mine and no problems. Enjoy. Don

Tires don't last long enough.

same as with all the 1800s, fuel only lasts for 200-240 miles then you have to find someplace that will take your money and give you more. Sad, very sad...
