hi i have a 1985 1200 gw aspy and a 1983 gw 1100 aspy wondering if some of

the engine parts can switch..

switch the rectifier from an 1100 to the 1200

switch the starter from an 1100 to the 1200

I do know the GL1200 starters are bigger, and mount differently than the 1100 does.

The rectifier looks and works the same and is wired the same and will work but whether the 1200 one was built heavier duty I do not know.
The starter will not work.
