I know that it's in here somewhere, but I haven't found it. Got my parts for the carbs today and i don't have a book for the 1100. Can some one tell me the float setting and idle screw setting for this. Dana

Float= 15.5mm
fuel screw setting= was first listed at 1 1/4 turns out but later updated to 3.0 turns out.

Hope this helps and it works good with the new carbs

Just a tip.. rack flat on its back, the floats cannot be set correctly.. it compresses the needle spring too much.. refer to instructions...

That's an easy error to make since a lot of carb floats are set with the float upside down. In the 'Wing the carbs have to be have the bowls vertical with the hinge float at the top with the float tab just touching the needle but not compressing the spring loaded pin in the needle. If your kit includes aftermarket needle valves you'll be VERY LUCKY if you can get them set at the proper level without them leaking.

One good check of the floats is to set the carbs on a level surface with the carb tops and slides removed Connect a small container of gas to the fuel line input barb with a piece of tubing and hang it a couple feet above the carbs.Watch the jets where the slide needles go through the bottom of the carb throat. If you see fuel welling up, the needle of that particular carb isn't sealing. It's a lot easier to correct this problem before reinstalling the carbs because it's so much quicker to see if the valves are working, much better than having an over rich running engine or gasoline diluted oil.

I just set the floats level with the carb body and it runs fine.

Thanks for the answers, if I do get weep by in one of the carb, should I set that float a little lower? I put them most of the way together today and noticed that one of the plastic limiters in the top of the slide is broke off level. Can you pick one of these up somewhere without having to buy a kit?
