looking for the control unit location and the neutral switch. Both the neutral lite and the air suspension light stays on. The air lite goes off like it should but comes back on. I have 25 psi air and rebuilt shocks so thats not it. I want to try jumping the wires in the control unit but do not know where the unit is. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried increasing the air psi ? 25 seems a bit low to me,even my old 900 Custom ran 28-54psi. I believe the Honda-line air shocks are all very similar...

The air sensor should be located just under the fill-point for the rear shocks, it kind'a screws into the same block...:gunhead:

Bump up the air to 40 or so..and clean the contact point for the ground wire..at the rear shock..near the master cylinder???

Thanks for the suggestions. i just rebuilt my rear shocks thanks to the how to from Mr. Sticky Fingers. There is no way I would ride with a lot of air pressure now. I would like to find the control unit so I jump out the light permanently. It rides wonderful at 10psi with 2 people.

Ground the wire where it connects to the pressure switch, that should turn the light off.
80-81 has the neutral switch on the lower right side of the engine behind the frame.
82-83 has it in the front cover.

Whoa! Wait a minute! Canadian *******!!?? Shoot, brother.... We Illinois ******** would take a strip of electrical tape and stick it over the offending lights (that'll teach 'em). Noise in the engine? Hell, turn up the radio and keep on ridin'. :) Respects, Squirts

I used tape on the neutral lite already, dont know how to cut tape round for the air light lol. As far as turning up the radio, I just got a ticket for that. I passed a cop and she pulled me over, said my stereo was too loud and there was a noise ordinance. She then gave me a ticket!!!! No signs in the city were posted and I had a license from MS. Go figure
